    Description:
One of the tools provided in WISE is Amanda the Panda, an electronic tool for providing students with hints at any stage of a project.
The Rationale Behind the Feature (Specific Design Principle):
The designer or a teacher who wishes to adapt any of the TELS projects can insert whichever type of information that might assist the learner to develop a more integrated understanding at a specific step in the learning. After the information has been inserted as a hint by the designer or teacher, Amanda the Panda becomes available; students who use the project can decide whether they want to “pull” this information or continue without it. They can always decide to go back to a step they have already comleted and use “Amanda the Panda” in former steps in which they skipped the use of hints.
