  • Visual representation of data collected by students

    Feature in Visual Map

    Description:
Students collect data manually, and insert it into the data table. By clicking on one button their data is represented as a graph.
The Rationale Behind the Feature (Specific Design Principle):
This feature is intended to assist learners to visualize their data without having to manually draw a graph, and thus, make sense of their observations without being distracted by tedious work. Limitation: This feature is not intended to teach graphing skills, and assumes learner already posses these skills.
    Context of Use:
This feature is part of WISE projects # 16096, CSI - Chemistry Scene Investigators: Balancing Equations & Greenhouse Gases
    Field-based Evidence:
Evidence about how this feature was accepted in class runs will be uploaded soon
