    Description:
    The Learning environment space map is a dynamic-graphic guide to Geo3D software content. It has a very clear graphic legend, which shows the user its learning path, location and progress. For example: green color shows the user where he is now. An arrow will show his path, and red color will demonstrate which learning content is already completed. It is accessible as an icon during the all-learning process in a way that student could reach it and see where are they? What assignment they have completed and not completed, and their Location in this software.
    The Rationale Behind the Feature (Specific Design Principle):
    The rationale is to enable students to get an overview of the learning content. Thus, students can be more aware of the learning environment in this software, and get a better feeling to where they are located in the complete learning process. It is like a directory index that shows the learner his position and path in the learning environment space.
    Context of Use:
    This feature is part of the learning environment. The user sees this interface during the performance of the software.
    Field-based Evidence:
    Teachers using the Geo3D software indicate that students are more independent in learning compared to learning with traditional learning materials. In many cases the index map provides answers to what do I do next? Where am I in the learning environment? What is the learning process? Questions, which are very common in traditional teaching.
